ARTISTIC APPROACH

Over the years, several guidelines have taken me through different creation stages and they may help those who wish to understand my work. In the collection of my artistic creations, I have used several pictorial techniques, preferably acrylic and mixed resources. Receptive to the possibilities offered by the technological development, computer design has been introduced in my works of art at the end of the 80’s.

On the other hand, my work is frequently structured in thematic series in which I try to approach the elected matter from different points of view. My particular interest is to show the public an aesthetic based on the use of bright and explosive colors in harmony with a system of lines which wrap up the forms and determine the rhythm of the composition. Therefor, that the subject becomes textures and volumes minutely worked contributing to the creation of a mixture of lights and shades, conferring to the works of art an atmosphere of dream, establishing a dialogue between fantasy and reality.

Conceptually, my more recent research on plastic targets the problem of the spontaneous application of the creation, sometimes at random, of the technique used and the balanced organization of the structure of the composition. My works of art speak of changes, of mutations, of a continuous evolution toward the new possibilities and the unknown. Thus, distinguishing in these works of art the dualities and the great contrasts between two opposed and contradictory forces: the abstract and the figurative.

By their diversity, my works of art offer to the spectator the abundance and the complexity of what is real, by using plastic resources: the intensity of the colors, the rich textures, the dynamics and the combinations in the environment, or the interpretation and the recreation of elements of the vast universe that surrounds us. This way, I try to transmit an atmosphere of happiness and well being, a partial relief from the hectic modern daily life and to bring the spectator to realize the immense beauty and inexhaustible richness of nature. I wish to show the importance of preserving nature, as it is a priceless legacy for generations to come.
